Training

SOLO is the first provider of training courses in work-at-height in the south-east of Europe. The courses are trained in our training center in Brasov(Romania) but also in our partner locations in Bulgaria, Turkey, Moldavia, Serbia, Croatia and Macedonia.
Because of the high percentage of trainees from outside of Romania we can train in other languages aswell: English, Hungarian, Bulgarian and Turkish.

What training course is best for you?

IRATA: international certification for rope access.
National Rope Access: national certification supported by the National Authority of Qualifications which is, by European law, valid in the UE.
Wind turbines: perfect for people working in the wind industry.
Telecommunication Towers: required for personnel working on telecommunication towers.
Rigging: this course is aimed at people working with cranes or are involved in lifting operations through other means.
Rescue: specific course for rescues (from height and confined spaces).
Supervision and documentation: this training is aimed at supervisors to improve their skills in documenting their job (risk assessment, method statement, rescue plans).
Euipment inspection: training in inspecting work at height equipment.
First aid: training for providing of first aid.

Enquieries

IRATA

IRATA courses in the SOLO training center are scheduled in the last week of every month.
Training is carried out following IRATA’s TACS (Training, Assessment and Certification Scheme).

The certification begins with Level 1, but, for technicians with experience there’s a procedure for direct entry to Level 2, for more details please contact us.

The course takes 5 days and another day for assessment (2 days assessment for direct entry).

IRATA level 1:
Requirements:
– good health state
– good physical condition

IRATA level 2:
Requirements:
– good health state
– good physical condition
– holding level 1 for at least 1 year
– 1000 worked hours registered in the logbook

IRATA level 3:
Requirements:
– good health state
– good physical condition
– holding level 2 for at least 1 year
– 1000 worked hours as a level 2 registered in the logbook
– extended experience in rope access

Direct Entry IRATA level 2:
Requirements:
– good health state
– good physical condition
– extended experience in rope access
– 1500 worked hours in a system similar to IRATA (these hours need to be checked and approved by IRATA).

National Rope Access

Attending this course will provide the trainees certifications according to ANC (Autoritatea Nationala pentru Calificari) which is the official rope access trade in Romania. SOLO is the only training center which can provide this course.

Rescue

This course is aimed to experienced technicians in working at height and confined spaces and it; target is teaching and improving rescue techniques. It’s suitable for rope access supervisors, designated rescue teams in cable transportation (ski resorts) but also for emergency service teams: firemen, army and special forces.
